My car has controls for the radio/cassette player on a stalk protruding from the steering wheel (like the lights/indicators/windscreen wipers' controls etc.). I fitted a different radio/CD player and this rendered the stalk control useless. Don't know if that will be the same for every car but this is what happened to me.Will changing a car stereo affect use of the audio remote control on the steering wheel?
u need a cable called a smart lead about 拢40
on some radios there will b extra connections? sometimes this is for the problems u may be having? u probably need an extra lead or connector? i had the same problem on a Renault.
highly unlikely... the controls are matched to the stereo... change it ans something isnt going to worrk
If you change it for the upgraded CD/radio that was originally fitted in your model of car then there will be connections for the steering controls.
If you buy a generic CD/radio then you *may* be able to get a conversion kit, but usually not.
