if there is please let me know thanks russIs there a way to enable or disable audio controls in bios?
yes there is but need to know what BIOS you have(Award, AMI Bios, Phoenix) if you have onboard audio and you put pci audio card it disables on board itselfIs there a way to enable or disable audio controls in bios?
if you want to disable the sound for bios only there should be a setting called ';bios settings'; or something similar which has that feature.

to disable sound from all system applications, just disable the sound card.
i didnt see it on my BIOS. did you know that bios is your cmos? the setup utility, thats what my computer teacher said be4
well if you mean your onboard soundcard yes it would be able to disable via the bios, but it depends on your bios, it would say audio controller
not sure about laptops but there normally is in the bios of a desktop. can you specify the make and model of your machine
