Cant click 'advanced' tab under audio in control panel 'sound and specch devices'??

when i go to control panel---%26gt;sound,speech and audio devices--%26gt;sound and audio---%26gt;audio tab----%26gt;sound recording section---%26gt;advanced tab cannot be clicked its not highlighted..why is this..i need to adjust some skype settings..im pretty sure i could click it before..i hav a feelin something is terribly wrong with my audio settings..like my audio driver is deleted or somethingCant click 'advanced' tab under audio in control panel 'sound and specch devices'??
Some sound cards don't support advanced options. But if you said you've seen it before, it sounds like you're right, the audio drivers are gone.





Determine which audio card you have and go to the manufacturers' website. If unsure, maybe try the free version of Everest, a lot of people swear by it. Finding your old driver CDs would also let you know what you're using.
