I've erased an important file and now i got no sound in my laptop.it says '; no audio device'; in control panel ?

Go to the manufacturer website and they should have support and drivers place that you can find drivers for your exact model, just have the model of the laptop with you and search for your's. If it's dell, you'll select the model and it'll look for the configuration example 600m. If it's HP, just put the exact number that says on the bottom of your laptop example: dv5256us. Don't know about others but they should have a support page in their website.I've erased an important file and now i got no sound in my laptop.it says '; no audio device'; in control panel ?
You can either try to use System Restore to roll changes back to where it was working. Since audio drives is a system file it'll be automatically restored to it's original state.

If you don't have a save point where you can roll changes back to - try manufacturer's website, they usually have drivers available for every laptop model they make.I've erased an important file and now i got no sound in my laptop.it says '; no audio device'; in control panel ?
sounds like you erased a driver file, do you know what sound system you are using? for example if it is one built into your motherboard, do you know what make and model of motherboard you are using? we can then find the drivers for you online and get this sorted ^_^

edit: delman7777 isnt a system restore a bit drastic for what sounds like a lost driver? wouldnt it make sense to try replacing the driver first, and then if that doesnt work roll back to a restore point? ;)
Go to settings/control panel/system/device manager

and delete the sound device and shut down. Reboot

and you should get the message ';new device found'; see

if windows can install it from the windows files.

If it is not there you will have to download the driver and install it manually.
Try doing a restore point. Goto accessories/system tools/system restore.
