My question is...how do I configure my favorite radio stations into my car's memory, so that when I press the buttons the radio station configured for that number appears automatically.

well. you should just be able to tune into the radio station and then hold down the number you want it to be and you will hear a beep or you will see a number appear on the deck and it will show you that is is programmed to that number, sometimes its for a few seconds maybe 5 to 10 just to program it. I have never payed attention to the time delay.
