More than likely you need to update your drivers. If you just did an automatic update and things were working just fine before, you can downgrade or ';rollback'; the drivers. I had this issue with Vista and the conexant audio drivers.Can't hear sound from computer.when i click on volume control it says i donot have any audio mixers installed
its a sound driver problem either they arent installed or you need to update them or if you have vista it dosent have drivers for vista so your screwed go back to XP only safe bet good luck
