Is it possible to fit audio steering wheel controls to a car that doesn't have them?

Just bought a 52 plate Punto MKII and was wandering if this was possible. Is it possible to fit audio steering wheel controls to a car that doesn't have them?
Yes you can buy kits for this but you need to check it is compatible with your stereo and if you do get one try it in several places to make sure its just right. Most of the time its easier to reach over to the head unit.Is it possible to fit audio steering wheel controls to a car that doesn't have them?

I had a Sony ten years ago with column controls, so there should be plenty about in the used market too - check Ebay. You may also be able to get add - on controls for your existing stereo: Check on the maker's website.
Yes, with the help of an AUTO electrician
