The speakers are plugged in correctly, and the light is on on them. My bro-in-law messed with them a week ago and they haven't worked since. Is there a way to reset them?My speakers arent working on my computer. When I check the control panel it says ';no audio devices';
now here is the thing... when it says no audio devices are attached. it means your sound card not your speakers. it is the hardware piece attached it may be internal or a PCI card. anyhow what you need to reset is the driver for your sound card. If you know what model your sound card is. you can go to My computer (right click) %26gt; properties %26gt; hardware %26gt; devices and find out if your sound card is recognised in the first place (probably not) . then you have to go to the sound card's manufacturer's site and download the drivers for your specific sound card. if it is built-in ( which is teh case in most computers then go on your manufacturer's site eg. dell, compaq, hp .... etc . and look for your computer there. then you will see a support link or drivers or whatever it is. download the sound driver one and reinstall it. its not a big deal. but requires some look up online.
Good luck.My speakers arent working on my computer. When I check the control panel it says ';no audio devices';
