Start %26gt; Run

Click OK.

This will bring up the device manager.

Right click your sound card and click update driver.

Update the driver even if Windows says it's only found the same one. Yours has been corrupted.Sound icon on laptop has gone %26amp; cannot place audio device from control panel?
1. Right click on the taskbar

2.Select properties and you will get a pop-up

3.Click on the ';Notification'; tab at the top of the pop-up

4. you will see that there is a tick-box called volume

5. click on it so it's ticked

6. click on OK

The volume icon should come back again
restart ur computer or ring the retailer you got it from or the company good luck or look in the Sound icon and click mixer
You could try a right click on a blank area on your taskbar go to properties then untick ';Hide inactive icons';

it may help
