I have no more audio codecs or media control devices for my windows xp I would like to reinstall it however I have no clue how to do it ! I am going nutts without sound on my computer ! Someone Please Help !!!Reinstalling audio codecs or media control devices windows xp?
if your using built in sound card, just insert the motherboard installer cd... then, follow the steps of what your gonna do... if you just bought a sound card, well, insert the installer cd that came with the sound card..
click start%26gt;control panel%26gt;add hardware%26gt;
then follow the steps there... just click the icons with the yellow marks (!).
if your having troubled with the installation cd... find it to the internet..
if your still having a problems... find a person that knows how to install some hardwares... etc etc..Reinstalling audio codecs or media control devices windows xp?
start, run, devmgmt.msc
make sure everything is installed.... they will have a question mark in yellow if they are not....
If it is just a codec problem..... install this....
