you still have to reinstall the driver for your sound card. you don't need to open up your casing to know what unknown hardware you have. just download and install this little software called 'driver magician'. i uses it alot. use that software to identify who's the manufacturer of your sound card. go to the manufacturer download page. download the driver.reinstall.

Multimedia audio control?
ok i was cleaning up my computer and i really screwed it up my multimedia audio control has the yellow ! next to it i now your are probably going to tell me to reinstall it. i cant because i don't have the disk that it wants me to insert so basically i would need to go download the info and stuff but i don't no how please help e mail me at Forrestweston@yahoo.com or answer this please and by the way i don't no how to scan for a device either so you would need to walk me through that to if your suggesting i do that thanksMultimedia audio control?
