I have a car with audio controls and I want to buy a new cd reciever player for my car. I went to Hhrgregg and they told me if you buy a new one then you lose your steering wheel function. sorry but i don't think you can. but look on the bright side most new units have a remote that you can Velcro to your wheel or anywhere leave your Controls alone and just UN hook them and save your original radio in case you want to sell it you can put it back.
